Purdy in Pink!

If you are reading this and you love fresh flowers then I hope you live near a Kroger. (This is not a sponsored post.) This is true life, real love! Kroger flowers are my favorite way to add bright and colorful cheerfulness to our home. This passion was sparked by my Grandma. I used to bring her fresh flowers every 2 weeks and Kroger flowers were the most cost-effective and long-lasting way to brighten her day. After she passed, I started treating myself to this simple joy. Now, I credit my husband to these frequent, beautiful "Just Because" bouquets.  Do you think my flowers look pretty? If you answered YES, then you are in the right place.

Not let me tell you these fun facts:

  1. These flowers were a week old at time of photographs.
  2. They traveled 197 miles in our 5th wheel travel trailer before being photographed.
  3. They were only $10 at Kroger!!
Can you see why I'm obsessed and gave them their very own photo shoot? The bouquet is currently over 2 weeks old and still going strong!

My fresh flowers tips:
Each week...
1. Change water.
2. Trim an inch off stems.
For a homemade flower food: Mix 1quart of water with 1 tablespoon Sugar & 1/2 teaspoon Bleach.
