Walmart Finds: Tie Dye Kit

Before...

& After!!!

     I have been finding so many fun items at Walmart this season. From drawstring waist denim shorts to new jammies, but my all time favorite find is this tiered T-shirt dress. I picked up the gray color and transformed it with my tie dye kit.

*My Tie Dye Tips*

 1. Get the fabric damp, pre-dye
2. Let that dye sit (waiting is the hardest part!)
3. Rinse each color with some cold water & squeeze out the excess dye.
4. Then rinse with vinegar & cold water.
5. Let dry overnight.
6. Wash in cold water.
BONUS TIP: Don’t wash white shirts in the next washer load...oops!

Blow Baby Blow

     I learned snapping this pic that I can’t blow bubbles worth a dang soooo in stepped my bubble blowing husband. Scroll for REAL BUBBLES. Then I used the superimpose app to steal some of his bubbles & add them to my pic.

Father’s Day Gift Ideas

     I haven’t highlighted any “Men’s” items for awhile but we have a few favorite items that we have purchased both for our home & gifted to others. I think these would all be great gift ideas for Father’s Day or any holiday!

1. Masterbuilt Electric Smoker Sale Price: $151 (with free Prime shipping)
After trying the one that we bought for Corey’s dad, we made the switch to electric...so easy & tasty too!!


2. Heat Resistant Silicone Gloves $12.99
We use these to take things off the grill, take food out of the smoker & to take things out of the oven. Pitched all my oven mitts after trying these.

3. Blackstone Table Top Grill $99.98
Corey & I travel with this 17” size and we purchased the stand as well. My brother has the much larger 36”. We all agree the flavor on this grill top just doesn’t compare to any other cooking method. We use for anything from ribeyes to fried rice!


4. Electric Lighter (recharges through USB) $19.99
The 1st on I bought was for my brother & then we proceeded to light everything possible on fire. Needless to say, we were impressed! I’ve purchased 2 more since then for us & for a gift.

Target Dyes it Again...

     Target dyes it again! I 10/10 recommended any tie dye set from Target & I 10/10 recommended throwing some flowers in your hair too! This set runs on the looser side...the shorts are the perfect length but I don’t recommend sizing up for length like I did; a little too baggy. (I’m 5’7”.)  If your preferred size is sold out, sign up for the target alert...it will restock! There are also several colors available if you need a more muted hue. Enjoy those comfies!!

1. Corey actually offered to take my pic. (Note to self: sundresses & cowgirl boots must be acceptable hayfield attire )

2. On this day 5 years ago Corey said Hi to me for the 1st time...”so how do ya like pipelinin’” to be exact. Swooooon that southern accent still makes my heart pitter patter.
