     At what age do you have to stop pretending to be a mermaid? Asking for a friend... Frolicking on the beach is my favorite! I love to have matching sarongs & cover-ups for each of my suits. The last couple wraps that I've purchased have gone with several suits thanks to the multicolor patterns. Would you believe the one in these pics was only $7.88 with Prime shipping!!

     Unless it's a designer label that you have to wait to find on sale, most things online can be found cheaper.      One of our favorite spots on Daufuskie Island: the Silver Dew Winery at Bloody Point. You can stop in the Bloody Point Lighthouse Museum & taste 2 wines: Scuppernong & Scuppernong Blush. They are both sweet & best served chilled or even over ice. While at the museum you can learn the history of Bloody Point, browse the gift shop & take a stroll through the gardens. Besides the vineyard, there are also indigo, sea island cotton and Carolina gold rice crops. The 300 year old "Almost an Angel" Oak Tree is the perfect spot to stop for some shade & stand in awe of this gigantic beauty.



    The dress that I wore for our island adventures is the Free People Rendezvous Hi-Low Slip Dress. I found mine on eBay for $10.86!! (Originally: $78!) Currently on Amazon in limited sizes, $7.99 & up!
