Bootea 14 Day Teatox



     After the Memorial Day holiday weekend, I decided to make a change! I kicked off my 14 day teatox with Bootea. What is a teatox? It's an all natural, herbal tea designed to cleanse, reduce bloating & leave you feeling energized. There are several lengths of programs and for mine I did the 14 day program. So for two weeks I drank my daytime tea, usually with or after breakfast and then I drank my nighttime tea (every other night), in between dinner & bedtime. My personal favorite part was the nighttime tea..Why? I'm a evening snacker! When we're watching tv at night I always go for popcorn, chips & dip, pretzels, you name it! Instead of going for a snack, I made the decision to drink my tea & be happy!! This has definitely helped me to break my nighttime snacking! Both the day & night teas served as great ways to satiate my appetite.



Along with drinking my tea during the 2 week teatox, I made some changes to my diet & added minimal fitness goals.

For diet: 
  1. No sugar
  2. No alcohol
  3. Little to no carbs

For exercise, I made these simple goals:
  1. Close my move ring on my apple watch everyday
  2. Do my sit-up routine (approx. 150 reps of various ab exercises)
  3. Go for a nightly walk after dinner (only a quarter mile)

My Results:
  1. Down 10lbs.
  2. Down 6.75 inches (combined total lost from before/after thigh, arm, waist, stomach & hips measurements)

All natural ingredients are very important to me: 
Daytime Tea – Chinese Oolong Tea, Yerba Mate, Ginger, Lemongrass, Fennel Seeds, Dandelion Leaf, Siberian Ginseng, Nettle Leaf and Gotu Kola.
Bedtime Tea – Peppermint Leaf, Psyllium Seeds, Fenugreek Seeds, Liquorice Root, Burdock Root, Hawthorn Leaf and Desiccated Coconut.
